LOCTITE® 515 Gasket Eliminator is a high-performance anaerobic flange sealant designed for sealing rigid machined metal flanges. It cures in the absence of air when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces, forming a flexible, durable seal that prevents leakage of oils, coolants, water, fuels, and many industrial fluids.

Unlike conventional paper, cork, or rubber gaskets, LOCTITE 515 fills microscopic surface imperfections and machining marks to create a reliable, leak-proof seal. The cured sealant resists vibration, pressure fluctuations, and thermal cycling while maintaining excellent sealing performance over time.

LOCTITE 515 is ideal for use on aluminum, cast iron, and steel flanges commonly found in industrial machinery, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, engines, and hydraulic equipment. Its thixotropic consistency prevents the sealant from flowing after application, ensuring clean and accurate assembly without mess or waste.
